2015 FORD SUPER DUTY CHASE TRUCKS
Called chase trucks, they can service a vehicle anywhere in the desert. Each truck is outfitted with radio communications, a winch, KC HiLites LED Lighting, Toyo Tires, tools, spare race parts and custom fuel dispensing systems. The box section above the cab is actually the refueling system. When not in use, the fuel tower sits flush with the roof of the cab to be aerodynamic going down the road. When it’s time to fuel, the tank is raised and fuel is pumped from tanks below into the tower. Designed to be simple and durable, the custom fuel tower uses gravity, dumping 80 gallons in only 20 seconds. Any unused fuel drains back into the lower tank so the center of gravity on the chase truck is not negatively affected. The custom Ford F-350’s pull up to a designated pit area, service the race vehicle and then pack up and move to their next stop along the course.

2014 triple axle show hauler. The Roberts Racing hauler and mobile command center is built on a 40 foot long, triple axle, Freightliner chassis using a 600 horsepower, turbo charged Detroit diesel for motivation. Crew quarters are located within the tractor, race vehicles are housed in the custom Featherlight trailer towed behind. The trailer contains work benches, tools, parts and all three race cars; one car rides up top and the other two are transported in the lower level.
